The Frankfort Y offers after school care programs for children in grades Kindergarten–5. Our programs provide care for your child with valuable social and scholastic skills in a safe, fun, and supervised environment. We offer a pick-up service from Collins Lane, Bridgeport, Early Learning Village, Hearn, Elkhorn Elementary, Peaks Mill, Westridge and Second Street School. Spaces are limited, and location pick-up is pending enrollment numbers.
Hours of Operation:
The programs offer a constructive balance of counselor led activities and free time for child exploration. Daily theme activities include arts and crafts, science/math activities, nutrition/wellness activities, presentation activities (music, theater, cooking, etc) and literacy. The Frankfort Y has also made a commitment to meet the Y's Healthy Eating and Physical Activity Standards (HEPA). There is always time for homework, a nutritious afternoon snack, outdoor activities and swim time at the Y. Children also get the opportunity to participate in 6 week cycles of swim lessons at no charge! We also offer full day programs when schools are not in session for breaks and days with inclement weather. The Frankfort Y does accept CCAP and financial assistance is available to those who qualify.
